It was an ok read.It was not up to other novel standard It was very slow in many places It was Predictable from the start. Reflections of YesterdayThis was probably the worst of Debbie Macomber s books The manipulative protagonist was selfish as she moved her love between two men She put every situation even her father s deathbed illness to her own use and pitted the offerings of her two lovers like trash She finally comes to her senses after the mother of one of the men visits her and begs her to return to her son She does so and one can only hope she sticks with her choice for a happy ending I usually am a Debbie Macomber fan but I must say this book is an exception. @DOWNLOAD EBOOK È Reflections Of Yesterday ⚪ Now Available For The First Time As An EBook, Debbie Macomber S Moving Novel Of Heartbreak And Hope Is A Classic Story About How Love Can Heal Even The Deepest Wounds Twelve Years Have Passed Since Angie Robinson Fled Her Hometown Of Groves Point, South Carolina, With Ten Thousand Dollars And A Broken Heart She Knows Simon Canfield Still Lives There His Powerful Family Practically Owns The Town Now She S Back, If Only To Return The Money Simon S Mother Paid Her To Leave For Too Long Angie Has Lived With Her Regrets, Her Mistakes, And Her Suffering If There S Forgiveness To Be Had, The Time Has Come Years Of Anger And Bitterness Have Hardened Simon S Resolve, And He Doesn T Want Any Part Of Angie Or Her Excuses But When He Discovers The Truth About What Happened And Why She Skipped Out On Him, Everything Changes Simon Lost The Woman He Loves Once Despite All That S Happened Since, And All That Still Stand Between Them, He S Not About To Lose Her Again Praise For Debbie Macomber No One Tugs At Readers Heartstrings Quite As Effectively As Macomber Chicago Tribune The Reigning Queen Of Women S Fiction The Sacramento Bee It S Impossible Not To Cheer For Macomber S Characters When It Comes To Creating A Special Place And Memorable, Honorable Characters, Nobody Does It Better Than Macomber BookPage Published By Debbie Macomber Books Not bad I found Angie, to be a very frustrating character And her dad was so rude and nasty, especially since their relationship was described throughout as pretty solid even after all he did I am glad he came around by the end and Simon s mother too, though I saw that coming. I am so happy that I won a copy of this book through a giveaway on Good Reads I loved every minute of the book It grabbed me from the very beginning and I hated to see it end It is filled with emotions and ups and downs It is a heartwarming story of second chances and getting over the past Thanks for my copy I really enjoyed this book. In all honesty, this was not one of my favorite Debbie ma comber books Could have been the time in which the book was written, 80 s, but i found the main character Simon to be overbearing, demanding, and just down right selfish Angie never seemed to have the confidence to tell Simon that he was in serious need of an attitude adjustment With all this being said, there was minimal character development Plot was interesting as was the family dynamic and two lovers defeating the odds However, it seemed as though the plot was stretched too thin, Not my favorite kind of story I just did not like the two main characters At times I wanted to stop reading, but yet I needed to know how it ended The ending was not satisfying either I also felt Glenn got a raw deal I guess I really would not recommend this for anyone Since I have read other books by this author I will continue with others she has written. Loved this story How can you go wrong with Debbie Macomber A remarkable story of forgiveness and a long lost love Highly recommend it. Not goodI have read and liked a majority of her books, but this one was painful to read Too many my loves and corny over the top romantic cliches. Debbie Macomber always writes great books This dealt with love and betrayal And always a happy ending.
